Yesterday’s stream result for Quake II: Stroggos Ex

During yesterday's stream, I continued blocking out my cyberpunk themed map for Quake II. I added an entire new part of the map and started to think about the main texture colors that I'm going to mix throughout the whole level. I decided that I wanted to create a mix of white, gray, black, yellow,… Continue reading Yesterday’s stream result for Quake II: Stroggos Ex

Mapping for Half-Life: today’s stream result

Been going at it today in TrenchBroom. I've continued working on my HAZMAT map for Half-Life. Since I'm no longer bound by a deadline, I decided to expand the map and block out an entire new section. Annie: Episode 1 version 1.1 released

I've been working on an update for the first episode of Annie, my Doom II project. The updated version fixes some gameplay bugs and texture misalignments. I've also added some extra health in Annie's lair because there was some feedback concerning the difficulty. You can download version 1.1 from the project page.

Those of you who were there from the beginning, will without a doubt remember… Continue reading Playthrough: The Dark Portal, a map for Quake

Playthrough: Vacillations of a Victorian Vagrant, a single player map for Unreal Tournament

Unreal Tournament was a great arena shooter and I can't even begin counting the hours I spent on that game during my childhood. The Oldskool Amp'd mod allows you to play single player maps that would normally require the original Unreal game. Many great single player maps tend to be made for Unreal Tournament these… Continue reading Playthrough: Vacillations of a Victorian Vagrant, a single player map for Unreal Tournament

Playthrough: Detain, a map for Duke Nukem 3D

For the second playthrough video, we will be returning to the glory of Duke Nukem 3D. I was very young when I first got my hands on it and remember being blown away by the sheer amount of interactivity and destruction that the game had to offer compared to the Wolfenstein and Doom series. The… Continue reading Playthrough: Detain, a map for Duke Nukem 3D
